Terms and Conditions
Please review the policies below before registering for any Soul2Sole class, lesson, or membership.
Registrations
All classes/enrollments and private lessons must be paid in full prior to starting the class/enrollment or private lesson. All class prerequisites must be adhered to. Registrants will only be permitted to skip a level upon instructor evaluation.
Private Lessons / Make-up Lessons
All private lessons must be pre-booked. To find out schedule and instructor availability for private lessons, please email info@soul2sole.ca.
While it is the responsibility of the student to ensure that they attend all lessons, we do understand that sometimes that’s not possible. Therefore, students will be granted 1 make-up lesson per term.
A make-up lesson is not a private lesson, but rather the student will have the opportunity to book an alternate day that the class is being offered to make up for the class that they have missed. There are no refunds or credits for missed classes.
Cancellation Policy
Soul2Sole reserves the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment. Should the class get cancelled, students who have pre-registered will be given the option to register for another class, or receive a full refund for the amount that they paid.
Refunds do not apply to Groupons, as Groupons are purchased from groupon.com directly.
In the event that the student wishes to cancel a registration, they may do so up to 6 days prior to the class/enrollment start date and will be refunded the amount paid, less administrative fees. Thereafter, any cancellation requests submitted prior to classes starting will be eligible for a credit only. No refunds or credits will be issued once a class/enrollment is in progress.
For the S2S Membership Program, all membership cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@soul2sole.ca, a minimum of one week in advance of the next billing cycle. As the membership is a flat rate regardless of how many classes the student chooses to book or attend, there are no refunds, credits, or transfers should a student not use the membership or forget to cancel.
Dress Code, Grooming & Student Conduct
Students are asked to dress comfortably and to wear clothing that doesn’t restrict movement. All students are required to bring indoor dress shoes with no rubber soles. No running shoes or outdoor shoes will be permitted on the dance floor. It is preferred, but not mandatory, for ladies to wear heels. Should ladies choose to wear heels, we suggest the shoe have an ankle strap to avoid slipping off and causing injury.
As Salsa requires partnering, it is imperative that all students partaking in any Soul2Sole activities, events, or classes do so cleaned, groomed, and in good health. This helps avoid unpleasant odours and prevents the spread of viruses. Students are asked to refrain from using strong scented fragrances, as some students may be allergic or asthmatic to such scents.
Soul2Sole is a respected, well-known dance studio in the Salsa community and therefore has zero tolerance for any loud, disruptive, or aggressive behaviour, both inside the studios or offsite at any events, parties, or class outings hosted by Soul2Sole. Should students of Soul2Sole display such behaviour, they will be removed from the event, class, or outing at the discretion of S2S staff and without reimbursement.
